Heavily influenced by the sounds presented by the likes of Guy J, Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Guy Mantzur, Eli & Fur, and Jeremy Olander, Dowden has established a signature sound that has consistency, yet maintains variety.

Dowden has released music on industry-leading labels such as Sudbeat, The Soundgarden, EDGE, Hoomidaas, Meanwhile, and Mango Alley. Dancefloors and radios around the world are constantly filled with Dowden's music as he gains consistent DJ support from the industry's biggest names, including Guy J, Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Cid Inc., Armen Miran, Lane 8, Nicolas Rada, Eelke Kleijn, Guy Mantzur, and many more.

In 2022, Dowden ascended to the top of the underground Progressive House scene, becoming one of the highest-selling artists in the Top 100 Charts on Beatport. He reached the peak of #6 on the Progressive House 'Hype' artist list and #48 on the overall Progressive House artist list that same year. Two years later, Dowden consistently remains in the Top 25 highest-selling Progressive House artists on Beatport, according to Beattracker.com.

A recent highlight was a remix that shot to the top of the charts on Beatport. Only a few days after its initial release, “Oak & Hammer - Nacht (Dowden Remix)” claimed #1 in the Hype Progressive House charts and #4 in the overall Progressive House charts, remaining at the top of both for over 3 months. Although this was the most successful recent release, it is almost a guarantee that any release from Dowden will breach the Top 10 in both Hype and Overall Progressive House charts.

Dowden has become a household name in Progressive House and is now established as a sought-after DJ for touring and bookings. So far in 2024 alone, Dowden will have performed in 8 countries, 5 of them being first-time debuts in England, Sri Lanka, Hungary, Czech Republic, and Germany. While also returning to play in The Netherlands and Canada, Dowden is also expected to announce his first official South America and Australia tours in early 2025 with booking agency FP BEATS.

Dowden's influence on the deep progressive music scene also extends to education through his popular YouTube channel, where he shares his music production knowledge. This initiative has helped build a strong and passionate global fanbase, particularly among aspiring producers.

In October of 2024, Dowden headlined his debut performance in Sri Lanka to an audience of nearly 2,000 people—clear evidence of his upward trajectory in the global electronic music scene.
